Spot on!
Bought a Heritage H-150 online and George very kindly phoned to thank me and ask if i wanted the exact model i'd chosen as it was on display (aren't all guitars?) or a box-fresh example, excellent customer service.
Delivered safely on time, it's everything i hoped it would be.
Definitely recommend and would definitely use again.

I had a warranty issue with a recently…
I had a warranty issue with a recently purchased Maped Hi hat stand (connecting chain between pedal and rod snapped 3rd song into set one of a gig). Rob in the drum dept. Jumped on the issue, 72 hours after initial report of fault the replacement part had arrived and had been fitted ! Rob, thank you sir !

Received an amp with a European power…
Received an amp with a European power cable. I appreciate that mistakes are made but the customer experience here was awful. The chap I spoke to didn’t seem bothered and suggested I use my kettle cable. It was almost like “what are you complaining about, get over it”. A simple apology would have been fine.

Guitar wonderland as well as many other instruments. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and accommodate financial restraints and limitations of the customer which is essential for my budget. Great range of Bass guitars, guitars and accessories with sound rooms to try the gear.........fabulous.

positive experiences with Andertons
positive experiences with Andertons. I have ordered from Andertons about 5-10 times now and every time the items arrive on time and are in good condition. One guitar came with some factory issues but after calling up a replacement was organized very swiftly. The courier came with the new guitar and picked up the old one at the same time so there wasn't a time where I was without a guitar, a much appreciated service as some other stores do not offer this.

Behringer RD-9
Ordered a Behringer RD-9 on the 14/05/22 with free delivery with DPD on Monday 16/05/22.
DPD delivered the Behringer RD-9 right on time.
Upon unboxing the Behringer RD-9 I was disappointed to find the PSU came with a Euro 2 pin slide adapter & no UK slide adapter.
However a quick call to Andertons to explain the problem where they apologised & immediately rushed me out a UK slide adapter for the PSU via DPD the very next day.
Overall great customer service.
Very happy.

Great service but…
Provided great service both times I have dealt with them. It’s a little poor I had to pay £15 to return an item (where other companies would offer free returns) however otherwise they were good.

Awful - two damaged 'new' guitars and a lack of caring.
Awful. Bought a new guitar which was damaged (factory issues) so clearly wasn't checked before being sent. I contacted them and they said they'd fully QC the replacement before shipping. Received the second guitar and again factory issue damage. So i contacted again and got the reply of yes it should have been qc'd blah blah blah. So they offered £20 credit... the rrp was £1699 or something. Basically Andertons TV and Andertons really don't seem to be the same. The image they sell themselves as having doesn't seem to exist. Bought from guitar guitar and had a mint service so will stop using Andertons like my others have.

Late to the party with this one
Late to the party with this one, I ordered a Roland FP-30 back in December 2020 with a five-day shipping delay, only to be told on the fourth day that I would be waiting a further three months; this is after charging my account the total amount of £702. I was offered no apology for the significant inconvenience caused by this blatant bait and switch of delivery times.

Ordered a eastcoast T1vintage white delivered by DHL by a smart chap box not damaged when opened it was very well packed in two boxs guitar looked great no damage very pleased also after a little tune up played straight from box hope to order eastcoast cherry later in the year thank you very much D BLACK

Customer service hits an all time low with Andertons
I purchased a Marshall Code 100 digital amp from Andertons last April. The amp was faulty so I contacted them to have it replaced. Unfortunately that model was discontinued, so they swapped it for a fender. I was to return the Marshall amp with DPD the same time I received delivery of the new amp. I packed the amp in it’s original box, clearly attached the return address to it and the swap was done with the DPD driver. Almost 12 months later, I received a text messaging saying they had not received the return. I advised them I had returned it when and how we had agreed last April 2021. Today I received a letter, threatening to escalate the matter to a Formal Procedure.
I’ve literally never received or even heard of customer service quite on this level.
Why does it take a year for you to realise you haven’t received a returned faulty product?
Rest assured Andertons.. You won’t be seeing any of my money going forward.

Customer service & Guitar choice
I have been a customer of Andertons for around 10 years, spent loads of money with them. I have always received great service and advice prices not always the cheapest but, sometimes paying a bit more is ok.

Lousy customer service
Really lousy customer service.

Guitar ordered online and delivered with a major fault. Return/exchange refused as it was notified after 48 hours (actually 4 days, but the fault was evident on delivery - this can be evidenced by date stamp/metadata in provided photos) and hid behind some small print. Should never have been dispatched in this condition, there is obviously no quality control, but really disappointed to be fobbed off. Good job it was a cheaper model as will be thrown away and a replacement bought elsewhere, and I will have to resort to the legals/credit card protection to recover the money.

Complete ripoff. I was absolutely disgusted by the experience and would never deal with them again, and would strongly advice against anyone buying from this outfit
